Experience
Since 1979, MarShield lead radiation protection, storage and shielding products have brought value to various commercial markets including nuclear, medical, veterinary, and dental as well as institutions and government bodies engaged in scientific research through to military operations and national defence. Today MarShield designs and manufactures products for clients in the USA, Canada and targeted international markets worldwide.

Facilities
MarShield has 2 locations with over 50,000 sq ft of manufacturing and warehouse space located in Burlington, Ontario – the industrial centre of Canada. This significant advantage provides close proximity to major power and nuclear plants, access to key raw material markets, as well as strong local infrastructures for truck, rail, air or ocean freight. This location also allows us to tap into a highly-skilled workforce to uphold our rigorous quality standards.

US Government Contract Requirements
MarShield is a long-term supplier to many US Government Agencies. Products manufactured by MarShield in Canada, a qualifying country under the Trade Agreements Act, compete on an equal basis with U.S.-made products, as outlined in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 25 and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Part 225.
